1. Acceptance and eligibility

These terms govern use of the Makeover Homes public website provided by Makeover Homes LLC ("Makeover Homes," "we," "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or submit information through it.

The site is intended for adults involved in real-estate, financing, or renovation matters. Use it only if you can lawfully do so. When acting for another person or organization, you must have authority to provide information and make the request on their behalf.

Our Privacy Policy explains information handling. A separate agreement for a particular service governs that service; these website terms do not replace an executed service agreement or create a loan or professional-services contract merely by browsing.

2. About Makeover Homes

The site provides renovation-loan education, information about Makeover services and tools, consultant search, contact inquiries, and HUD Consultant service requests. It also connects visitors to Makeover Estimator, Makeover App, and other resources. Features and availability vary by service and location.

3. Educational and financing information

Learn resources, Blog posts, videos, program descriptions, and other website materials provide general information. They may not reflect every circumstance or the latest lender, program, or regulatory requirement. Confirm information relevant to your transaction with the appropriate provider.

Website content does not replace individualized legal, tax, financial, engineering, appraisal, or other licensed professional advice. Financing information is not a commitment to lend. Using the site, an estimator, or a consultant does not guarantee loan approval, HUD approval, program eligibility, or a particular transaction outcome.

4. Renovation estimates and fee information

Illustrations, budget ranges, estimator results, and project information are planning aids, not guaranteed final renovation costs. Property conditions, scope changes, location, labor and material costs, inspections, lender requirements, and other circumstances can materially change actual costs and timing.

The HUD consultant fee schedule and budget-based fee summary are informational. Mileage may apply separately as described on the site. The order form does not calculate billable travel mileage, a total charge, or collect payment. A finder's geographic distance is not a billable travel calculation. Confirm the applicable scope, price, and payment arrangements with the service provider before proceeding.

5. HUD Consultant finder and coverage

The finder uses a Google-selected property and location information to search for nearby consultants. It checks Makeover consultant results and, where available, may show separately identified non-Makeover results from the HUD Near Me directory.

Search results reflect the information and availability checks used at that time. Directory details and coverage can change. A result does not reserve or assign a consultant, guarantee service, or establish an engagement. A lack of an online match does not necessarily mean service is unavailable; contact our office for help verifying coverage.

Confirm a professional's availability, credentials, services, fees, and suitability before engaging them. Directory information is not a representation of government endorsement of Makeover Homes.

6. Professionals and service relationships

Makeover network professionals, external directory professionals, and other providers do not all have the same relationship with Makeover. External directory results are not presented as Makeover network assignments. The actual provider and applicable engagement determine responsibility for the services provided.

Lenders, Realtors, contractors, consultants, and other third-party professionals are responsible for the professional services they provide under their engagements. This does not disclaim responsibilities Makeover expressly undertakes in its own service agreements. A website link or listing alone does not establish an agency relationship.

7. HUD Consultant orders and service requests

Submitting the native HUD order form sends your information to the Makeover operational application for customer and professional resolution, project processing, coordination, and assignment through the applicable workflow. The consultant shown in a prior finder search is not retained as a reserved assignment.

A submission confirmation acknowledges receipt; it does not guarantee assignment, service availability, a completion date, financing, or approval. We or those handling the request may need to confirm details or obtain further information before services proceed. Keep a copy of your confirmation and contact us if you need to correct a submitted request.

Any later service charges or payment obligations must arise from the applicable service arrangement, not simply from using this website. These terms do not introduce a payment requirement in the native order form.

8. Saved drafts

Save as Draft lets you retain an incomplete order and resume it within seven days of its first save. Autosave begins after the first explicit save and does not extend the access window. A draft is not a submitted order; complete final submission to send the request for operational processing.

Keep your private resume link secure. Starting a new order does not delete an older saved draft. Do not rely on the draft service as your only copy of important documents or information. Once a draft expires or an order is submitted, it is no longer an editable draft.

9. Your information and documents

Provide accurate, current information and review any professional details filled from existing records. You are responsible for having authority to share borrower, co-borrower, lender, Realtor, contractor, and other contact information.

Upload only relevant documents you have the right to provide. Do not upload malicious files, unlawful material, or unnecessary sensitive identifiers. You retain your rights in your submitted material. You authorize us to receive, store, process, and share it with the systems and people reasonably needed to handle your request, as described in the Privacy Policy. This is not a transfer of ownership or permission for unrelated public use.

10. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site or its forms, impersonate others, send spam, submit unlawful or malicious content, attempt unauthorized access, guess or misuse resume links, interfere with security or operation, or use automated requests to overwhelm services or collect private information. Respect reasonable technical limits and other people's rights.

11. Site content and intellectual property

Makeover branding, site design, text, graphics, and other materials belong to Makeover or their respective owners. You may use public resources for their intended informational purpose and as permitted by law. Do not misrepresent ownership, remove attribution, or reproduce protected materials for unrelated commercial use without the appropriate permission. Third-party marks remain the property of their owners.

12. Third-party services and links

Address tools, directory sources, hosted or embedded media, and linked applications depend on other providers. Makeover Estimator, Makeover App, app stores, and external websites may have their own terms, privacy notices, and service conditions. Review those terms when using those services.

We do not control every external site's content, operation, or availability. A link does not by itself guarantee a third party's service or authorize you to use its protected content.

13. Availability and disclaimers

We aim to provide useful, functioning resources, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free information, successful uploads, or constant third-party availability. Features can be unavailable during maintenance or technical failures. If an online function fails, contact us rather than assuming a request has been received.

To the extent permitted by law, the website and general informational tools are provided as available, without a warranty that they will meet every purpose or produce a particular result. This does not override an express commitment in a separate Makeover service agreement or a protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limits of website responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Makeover is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of, or inability to use, this website or reliance on its general informational tools. Makeover does not guarantee a third party's independent decisions or performance.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, limits non-waivable consumer rights, or changes duties Makeover has accepted under a separate service agreement. Applicable law may limit the effect of these provisions.

15. Access restrictions and changes

We may restrict access where reasonably needed to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or operational problems. We may update site features and these terms as services change. The Last Updated date identifies the current version; additional notice will be provided where required by law. Changes do not, by themselves, amend a separate executed service agreement.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by Indiana law, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you under applicable law. Nothing here requires arbitration or waives rights that cannot legally be waived.
